In 2019, India's International Movement to Unite Nations (I.I.M.U.N.) put together for the first time ever- The Republic Day Edition of it's Championship Conference at the iconic World Trade Center, Mumbai. With 700 students from across 52 institutions, this conference witnessed participation from students belonging to the countries of Germany, Mexico, Bangladesh, China et cetera and few of the committees that were simulated included 321 BCE- Battle of Maghada, Drafting Committee of the Indian Constitution, General Assembly Plenary and Emergency Parliamentary Symposium.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by Ms. Lara Dutta (Model and Actress), Ms. Ananya Birla (Singer Activist, Entrepreneur), Ms. Aditi Rao Haydri (Actress), Mr. Jackky Bhagnani (Actor and Entrepreneur), Mr. Ganesh Acharya and Crew (Choreographer & Film Director), Official Mascot Mr. Lesle Lewis (Singer, composer, and music producer) and Mr. Cyrus Broacha (TV Anchor & Comedian).
The MUNClave Speaker Series on the evenings of the other days saw panel discussions, QnA sessions & speeches being delivered by speakers and luminaries such as Amb. Prakash Shah (Former Permanent Representative of India to the U.N.), Mr. Nadir Godrej (Managing Director of Godrej), Mr. Sambhajiraje Chhatrapati (Social Worker and Politician), Mr. Shantanu Maheshwari and crew (Actor and Dancer), Ms. Shruti Seth (Actress), Mr. Amol Gupte (Director, Screenwriter and Actor), Mr. Shivraj Singh Patil (Former Union Minister of Home Affairs), Amb. P.S. Raghavan (Convenor of India's National Security Advisory Board) Mr. Sanjay Jha (Executive Director of Dale- Carnegie Training Operation), Ms. Shaina NC (National Spokesperson for the BJP), Mr. Anil Harish (Corporate Lawyer) Mr. Ameet Satam (politician), Amb.
