The 57th edition of India’s International Movement to Unite Nations saw
over a hundred delegates charged with a passion for diplomacy make their
way through our digital platform. Scheduled on the 12th and 13th of
June, the conference simulated a range of committees discussing the
question of marital rape, caste reservation in education among others. A
unique committee that brought smiles to many in these unprecedented
times was the F.R.I.E.N.D.S. committee in honour of the show's reunion
recently! The opening ceremony was graced with the musical talents of Mr
Harpreet, who charmed the delegates with his multi-lingual musical
compositions and celestial voice. Followed by an interactive segment
with actor and performer Mr Iqbal Khan, who engaged in a candid and
spirited discussion on the impacts of social media and television on
young minds. Taking questions from the audience and remaining humorous,
Mr Iqbal left a mark on the audience! After over 10 hours of debate and
discussion the delegates concluded committees with fruitful
declarations.
