I.I.M.U.N’s third crisis edition was held on the 2nd and 3rd of October, 2021. The theme for this edition was- "Democracy Under Threat"

The inaugural ceremony of the conference was graced by the Official Mascot of I.I.M.U.N. Mr Leslee Lewis who spoke and performed for the students who had gathered from across 30 cities of India. Followed by this we hosted a Special Guest Mr Milind Deora, Former Union Minister of State for Communications and Technology and Shipping who was in conversation with Abhishek Dhawan, Deputy President of I.I.M.U.N. - this segment served to be very informative and enriching for the students as they got to learn about the role of youth in keeping democracy in check & lots more!

After that, students were assigned to their respective committee rooms for discussions and debates. A couple of committees simulated at the conference included Lok Sabha and Prime Minister's Special Summit whilst some of the topics that students spoke about were "Revisiting CAA-NRC in light of the Afghanistan Crisis" and "Question of mass surveillance in light of the pandemic".

The second day of the conference began with committee proceedings which concluded with discussions and voting upon declarations prepared in each committee by the student participants. The closing ceremony started with a conversation between a representative from I.I.M.U.N. and Ms. Prerna Singh, Mahatma Gandhi Associate Professor of Political Science and International Studies at Brown University. This was followed by the judges sharing insights and feedback of their respective committees and making announcements of the winners.
