About

Believing that it’s the time for the youth to contribute to finding solutions to real problems that are plaguing the world, the organisation started with the "Crisis Editions" of I.I.M.U.N’s Digital Conferences where they intend to take up present-day problems affecting the globe.

The first conference under this new banner of conferences was hosted on the 4th & 5th of September, 2021 where the theme for the conference was the "Taliban Crisis" and students were divided into 3 committees each discussing different aspects to this matter right from the refugee crisis and situation in Afghanistan to preparing a framework for India to deal with this crisis.

The conference was inaugurated by a speech delivered by Ambassador Anil Trigunayat who addressed the issue of the ongoing situation in Afghanistan followed by an interaction in the form of a Question and Answer situation with the student delegated. Followed by this was a melodious segment that was performed by Ms Kenishaa Francis.

At the end of the inaugural ceremony, the students were divided into their respective committee rooms and were engrossed in discussions and debate. Later the same evening a few students from each committee also took part in a midnight crisis session. On day 2 of the conference, proceedings began with a session on Yoga, Meditation and Fitness that was conducted by a professional trainer Ms Priyanka Vig who taught and performed several asanas to the students. At the end of this day, students connected together at the closing ceremony where the judges for each committee gave students feedback on their performance and certificates were distributed and awards were announced.
