Dr. Shashi Tharoor, an elected Member of the Parliament, former Minister of State for Human Resource Development, former Minister of State for External Affairs, former Under-Secretary-General to the United Nations and unarguably one of the best politicians in India graced the IIMUN Championship Conference. Besides being a widely published critic and columnist, Dr. Tharoor is also known for his brilliant oratory skills. His expertise in diplomacy is unmatchable. Therefore, a question-answer session with him had to be on the cards. This session enabled delegates to get an insider’s perspective on the United Nations and it’s functioning. It was truly engaging and enlightening.
